Well folks, it’s been an interesting few months here at GD&F HQ! We are about to enter another national lockdown on Thursday 4th November, so we thought we’d give you an update on what we’ve been up to.

We have been working hard to develop our ‘bit on the side project’ Heck Yes! Designs, which is rapidly becoming a hub of beautiful things for your home. Inline with our environmental policies, several of our wooden items are made from repurposed wood and off cuts from our deckchair business. 

Our canvas prints (see our last blog for more details) are being turned into funky tote bags, wall hangings and even plant pots by our lovely community of followers. For some inspiration, pop to our Instagram account @heckyes_designs.

Our talented illustrator, Alex, has hand drawn our fantastic range of circus letters which are available as a ‘paint your own kit’. The fabulous fonts make a real statement when painted, and as you can match them to suit your interior, we think we are on to a winner! The wooden circus letters are available in a range of sizes and finishes depending on the style you want to achieve.

 We think the large letters would be a great lockdown project to pass a few hours whilst you master the art of decoupage, pom pom making or sign writing to decorate yours. 

The importance of supporting small, local businesses across the course of this year has been something we have actively embraced. We hope this continues as we build up to Christmas as people make more conscious decisions about where and what they are buying. We believe that all our products make great thoughtful gifts, which you can personalise by decorating them for an extra special touch, or give as they are. 

Speaking of Christmas, we are in the throws of designing some fab festive ‘paint your own’ decor, including 3D christmas trees, snowmen and penguins, which will be available by the end of this week! We will update them on our website.
